The lifting effect is immediate and discreet. It is the result of skin elevation at the time of the procedure. After inserting the sutures, Dr. Sani will adjust your skin to the desired elevation and use bi-directional cones on the sutures to hold it in place. In this way, the physician reshapes the contours of your face for a more youthful appearance.
Within a short amount of time, the sutures are effortlessly absorbed by your body. The sutures will also naturally motivate the fabrication of new collagen.
Gradual Regeneration Of Collagen
Silhouette InstaLift acts in the subcutaneous tissue and stimulates fibroblast activation and the gradual production of Type I and Type III collagen. Silhouette InstaLift sutures are made from material that is well known and has been used for more than 30 years in a number of biomedical and pharmaceutical applications.

Procedure Information
Indication
The Silhouette InstaLift device is indicated for use in mid-face suspension surgery to temporarily fixate the cheek sub dermis in an elevated position.
Dr. Sani can determine if this procedure is appropriate for your skin and will develop a course of action to make your skin refreshed and youthful again. The treatment will include the doctor using sutures that utilize bidirectional cones to raise and shift the deep layers of facial skin. This treatment can take place entirely in our office and it will only take up 45 minutes of your day from start to finish. The effects will be instantaneous and your downtime after the procedure will be short.
Important Safety Considerations
Users should be familiar with recommended techniques involving Silhouette InstaLift devices, as well as proper patient selection and suture placement.
The Silhouette InstaLift device should not be used in patients with any known allergy or foreign body sensitivities to plastic biomaterial or in situations where internal fixation is otherwise contraindicated, (e.g. infection.) The device should also not be used in patients appearing to have very thin soft tissue of the face in which the implant may be visible or palpable.
After placement patients may experience a minimal acute inflammatory tissue reaction. Symptoms may include minor pain, swelling and bruising. Material sensitivity / allergic reactions should be reported to Silhouette Lift Inc. Implantation of foreign materials in tissue can result in histological reactions. Other potential side effects include sensory nerve injury, asymmetry or banding.
